YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Development & Design: Conceptualize and implement complex form layouts using Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and legacy SAPscript environments.

• Backend Programming: Develop and optimize ABAP and ABAP OO code to ensure efficient data retrieval and preparation for document output.

• Modernization: Lead the migration of legacy form landscapes (e.g., transitioning from SmartForms to Adobe Document Services) and integrate them into S/4HANA environments.

• Integration: Map forms to business processes across modules such as SD, MM, and FI/CO, and manage output determination (Message Control/BRF+).

• Consulting: Advise functional departments on technical feasibility, layout best practices, and internationalization (translations/special characters).

• Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis for printing issues, spool errors, and performance bottlenecks in the output stream.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, with several years of professional experience in SAP development.

• Coding Skills: Proficient in ABAP and ABAP Objects.

• Form Expertise: Extensive experience with Adobe LiveCycle Designer and Adobe Document Services (ADS) is essential. Solid knowledge of SmartForms is highly preferred.

• Web & UI Skills: Basic knowledge of JavaScript (for Adobe Forms logic) and an interest in modern UI technologies like SAPUI5/Fiori.

• Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP standard modules (specifically SD, MM, or PP) and the underlying data structures.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German skills are a significant advantage.
