YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• API Development & Design: You design and develop modern interfaces (REST, OData) for the seamless integration of SAP and non-SAP systems (Cloud & On-Premise).

• Backend for Frontend: You build high-performance backend services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and Core Data Services (CDS) as the foundation for modern SAP Fiori applications.

• Data Formats & Protocols: You work daily with modern web standards like JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

• SAP BTP & Clean Core: You actively participate in extending our ERP system via the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and help us implement a strict "Clean Core" strategy.

• Architecture & Code Quality: You evaluate new SAP technologies, drive architectural decisions, and ensure high software quality through peer code reviews and unit testing.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Education: A successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

• SAP Experience: Strong knowledge of object-oriented ABAP development (ABAP OO).

• Tech Stack: Solid practical experience with web technologies and API design (REST, OData, JSON, API Management).

• Modern SAP World: Know-how in current SAP technologies such as SAP RAP, CDS Views, and ideally initial exposure to SAP BTP or the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

• Mindset: You are eager to work with new technologies, think outside the box, and enjoy working agilely within a team.

• Languages: Fluent English and a good command of German round off your profile.
